Pebble badly needs volunteers for its new Buildings and Grounds Committee.  Here is my story.

I fell in love with Pebble at first sight. I’d never felt like this before, and I needed to do something to express my feelings.   So I went and washed all the windows in the Red Barn.  It was a long, quiet Saturday afternoon.  Nobody even knew.  It was an act of devotion, and in the meditative solitude I got something back–I felt the presence of Spirit.  There was something about it–how my giving intensified my living.  My work had become a prayer.

I’m not one of those who have given much in physical labor to Pebble; I admit that.   But I have at times, and when I clutched the handles of a wheelbarrow or weeded the parking lot on a hot June morning, I still got that spiritual buzz.

Work for a good cause, with great people.  Sign up and elevate your spiritual life.

In loving community,

Larry Hall, Council President
