Compassionate Inquiry Writing, Restorative Yoga, and Sound Meditation

Creating Space to Quiet the noise of daily Life and Listen more Deeply to the Wisdom Within.

We are honored to welcome special guest Dorothy Kelly.

Dottie is a trauma healer, therapist, children’s author, and lifelong storyteller

whose work helps children and families navigate life’s challenges

with compassion, resilience, humor, and self-empowerment.

We are feeling ecstatic that Ariel will be joining us again,

offering 15-minute reflexology sessions (3 spots still available +$25).

Ariel E. Monroe is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Level II Practitioner,

and Happiness Coach who helps individuals restore balance and navigate life’s transitions.

Write: Dorothy will lead a guided writing experience inviting you to meet your negative self-talk with compassion.

This is an opportunity to hear the voice of your own heart and turn up the volume on your inner wisdom.

Sound Meditation: Melissa and her son Michael shall hold space through a sonic experience.

For this Rooted Heart Opening Sound Journey, you are invited into an immersive

soundscape of crystal singing bowls, symphonic gong vibrations, and intuitive textures.

Pebble Hill Church Sunday Celebration, June 14th

Spirituality and Politics: Six Conversations Toward Deep Democracy

Does spirituality belong in politics? More importantly, does political discourse have a place in spiritual communities?

Presented at Pebble Hill Interfaith Church, this presentation is more dialog than lecture. It will be a testament to how any ideology untethered from the heart sometimes becomes pathology.

Michael Shoeman, Ministry Candidate through the Eighth Flame Fellowship, will engage the congregation in six “mini-conversations”: Appreciation, Possibility, Invitation, Dissent, Response-ability and Commitment.

In observance of Juneteenth, Michael will gently offer up the qualities of white supremacy culture and what European Americans can do to provide safer, trauma-informed environments. Perhaps those uncomfortable conversations about politics and religion no longer need to be swept under the rug as we take a closer look at the cultural conditioning which often informs our political and religious discourse.
