Pebble’s July 5 speaker Doreen Stratton, a Doylestown native whose ancestors came from Ghana, shares on her heritage and the Akan concept of Sankofa, which means, “It is not wrong to go back for that which you have forgotten.” She was this year’s recipient of the Bucks County Women’s History Month Award.
