For many years Pebble Hill Interfaith Church has awarded the Alma and Harold Abel Peace Award to a deserving person on the Sunday closest to Hiroshima Day.  This year we are happy to honor Gary Schoenberg, a longtime Pebble member and former Council President.

Join Gary Culp and Rosalind in celebrating Gary on this day!  Come and hear from one of his beloved friends and supporters about why she feels he is so deserving of this honor.

Gary himself will speak to the community about his life and his life’s work.

And one lucky Pebble member’s name will be drawn to take home the Pebble Peace Dove to provide her peaceful shelter for the coming year.  This caretaker of the Peace Dove will be taking over for Jeff MacNair (who some say won in a rigged drawing last year . . . being the newly elected Council President . . . I’m just sayin’ . . .)

And don’t forget it’s Peace Soup Sunday!  Expect a call from Bill Mettler to ask for your services for food/drinks or setup or cleanup. Even if you don’t hear from him please bring something to share.

Folks who can come at 10am to set up the tables and chairs outside will get bonus credits and go straight to heaven when their time comes!

Join us for celebration at 10:30am in person or on Zoom.
