Great news!
Thanks to the unexpectedly rapid decline in new covid cases, the Church Council has decided to “go live” (with Zoom) and return to having celebrations at the Red Barn, starting the first Sunday in March. However, our masking mandate will remain in force, at least for the short term.
On March 6, wise, warm and erudite Ramananda John Welshons will be our guest speaker (more about that in a separate announcement). Our talented and loveable piano player Rafael Sotogil will return to the keyboard. And, in honor of Fasnacht and Fat Tuesday, coffee and pastries will be provided prior to the celebration!
One benefit of our pandemic experience has been discovering a way to reach beyond our immediate area by way of Zoom—an app that many of us had never heard of prior to the crisis. Zoom will remain a staple of Pebble Sundays so, if you can’t be with us in person, you can Zoom in via computer or smartphone wherever you may be at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time on any Sunday.
Finally, a big “Thank you!” to all who have stuck with us through the dark times—and “Welcome back!” to those who have patiently and loyally waited to join us “back home.”
