June 21 – “Father’s Day” with a nod to the Summer Solstice! Rev. Larry Hall will lead.
Bring a photo of your father to share. Share a memory, too. Calling the ancestors. Blessing our fathers. Celebration starts at 10:30 a.m. This will be another virtual celebration, so look for the link toward the end of the week in the Pebble Announcements and on the home page of the PebbleHillChurch.org website.
June 28 – Gratitude! with Rev. Dave Perkins,
who says, Life is a precious gift which many of us often take for granted. We can easily fall into this, overlooking or minimizing the abundance and beauty that surrounds and sustains us. Personally, I have more recently been drawn to the empowering and enabling efficacy of simply “counting my blessings.” Doing so has astounded me in how much I have to be grateful for!
Folks, sing it out loud! Come to Pebble Celebration on the 28th and share all your lovely blessings, great and small, with the rest of us, that we may uplift each other as we remember, with deep reverence, what a MIRACLE our lives on this planet are!
Celebration starts at 10:30 a.m. This will be another virtual celebration, so look for the link toward the end of the week in the Pebble Announcements and on the home page of the PebbleHillChurch.org website.
July 5 – Another Poetry Sunday! Rosalind Cauffman leads.
Salmon Rushdie said, “A poet’s work … to name the un-nameable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world and stop it from going to sleep.” Surely you can fit in there somewhere! Our last poetry Sunday was great. Come to this one and make it greater. Bring your own poetry, or your favorite piece by someone else. Christine Guryev even showed up with some excellent original rap poetry. Open mic! First-timers welcome.
Celebration starts at 10:30 a.m. This MAY be another virtual celebration. If you don’t know, look for the Saturday or Sunday morning announcement, which will tell you where we will meet. If we are still meeting online you will find a link in the announcements and on the home page of Pebblehillchurch.org toward the end of the week. The link will lead you to our virtual celebration.
