Dear Beautiful Former Members of the World Peace Choir and Voices for Peace,
I am so excited to announce that Bill Bloom and I are organizing a WPC and VFP reunion to share music during the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Pebble Hill Church! Here are the details:
Any and all former members are encouraged to attend on that Saturday, August 25.
Please email me if attending so I have a music copy count.
Tentative flow of events:
2:30 Rehearsal at PHC
3 – 4:30 Celebration featuring two (2) special music songs by WPC/VFP singers with solos TBD, along with the choir backing up two familiar PHC songs: Beautiful City and On the Hill.
7:00 Concert featuring a number of PHC artists including Bill Bloom, who would like the choir to perform with him on his song, Everybody Shines.
Possible impromptu a cappella piece at the bonfire (Asikatali or Freedom?)
Printed music will be provided.
I can’t tell you how filled with joy and anticipation Bill and I feel at being able to be with you all in song, peace, and unity. If anyone has a strong desire to perform a particular WPC song, please let me know, and I will take that into consideration when choosing the pieces.
I can also scan and send music by email ahead of time so that you can familiarize yourselves again with the pieces. If you know someone who is not on the PHC email list (recently revised), please share this information.
