What are the dominant forces in us? A sense of self, a sense of place, a
sense of belonging to a tribe/group.
Some time its like a beautiful island. Some time is is like an isolated
island from the other islands within view.
Before the time of boats and bridges all you know is your island.
One day the post-storm shifting sands of time made a sandbar connecting
your island to another one.
You walk it. You meet others from the other island, then everyone goes
home. There’s no place like home.
After storm number 2 the sandbar connecting you to your neighbor is gone.
A desire is born that generates a powerful dream of new structures that
float and ones that span the vast expanse.
The world of boats and bridges is born. What we do next is up to US!
