I would like to thank everyone who attended Feb. 4th’s art exhibition, for supporting artist Doug Tweddale and our Pebble Art community! A special congratulations to Joann Wagner for winning the raffle. Doug was feeling especially generous and he actually gave away a real framed painting instead of a Fine Art print! I also want to thank Jeannie Elodie and Gretchen Altabef for surprising me with a christening of the viking helmet in honor of becoming the newest Art Director! Their support means so much to me!
I had a lot of anxiety leading up to my first show as the new Art Director. I was comforted after David Cook’s fabulous talk at Sunday’s Celebration about being vulnerable and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. His words gave me courage to push thru my own doubts and insecurities yesterday (thank you David). Ultimately, by the end of service on Sunday, I came to realize that one of the best things about this community at Pebble is that you CAN be vulnerable -and it’s ok! We all support and care for each other. What a beautiful community we have indeed, and what a fun day!
In all my worry leading up to the art opening, I forgot to ensure that pictures were taken! I would love if anyone who took pictures of both my christening with Jeanne and Gretchen, and the art reception could send me what they have. I would like to post them to the Pebble Hill Gallery and Church Facebook pages. You are welcome to text me the pictures from your phone at 267-252-3996 or email them to margueritepaluch@gmail. com. Thank you everyone!
Much appreciation,
Marguerite Paluch
