It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Denny Daikeler passed away this morning peacefully after being in hospice for a small stretch of time. Denny will be remembered as the smiling happy human being who loved art, fun, dancing and spending her time with family and friends. I was lucky enough to have met her, spend 2+ years with her and be ordained an Interfaith Minister with her in the 1st class of the School of Sacred Ministries at Pebble Hill Interfaith Church. She was a multi-faceted person who listened with full attention to any person lucky enough to be in her presence and especially those of us who would be able to call her friend.

We will update with any details we receive of any gathering for Life Celebration or Memorial. Our deepest condolences go out to her family and all of her many friends. May our hearts heal from her loss and May she fly high with the Angels.
Hi All! I’m writing from Mexico, having arrived here in the midst of a huge storm on Saturday, still effecting us 5 days later. In the midst of dealing with it, I’ve learned that Denny, my friend for 42 years and dance partner for half of that, has passed! Denny was more than a teacher and friend to all of us. Our wonderful celebration of her life on that August Sunday just before she entered her 90th year, August 18th, was unforgetable! Rising up out of her wheel chair and her memory care condition, we “danced”! She sang the entire song of Josh Grobin’s YOU RAISE ME UP! Blessed by her presence at Pebble that day, just 6 weeks ago, now she raises us all up as she dances her way into the eternal now! She was so ready! Blessed Denny! – Gary
