A term lasts only a year, and it’s a team experience you won’t forget. The election falls on the last Sunday in September. The new council starts work at its first meeting in October.
Six seats must be filled every year; there are no staggered terms. Since we are a relatively small organization, we need a larger percentage of people to help out. Please consider volunteering to run. Just tell me or any member of the council if you wish to be on the ballot. (Pebble members only, of course; if you’d like to join the church, let me or Susan Manning know.)
FYI, the church council is our board of directors, which has final responsibility for the life, work, property, programs, celebrations, finances, personnel, and events of the church.
