Dear Ones,
We were able to arrange this field trip for the Wed morning of Home Camp after the schedule was circulated. Mark your copy or calendar for a memorable tour of the newly-opened African American Museum of Bucks County in Langhorne on Wed August 12th from 10 am to 11.30 pm. We will be guided by Pat Mervine, who joined us in a Celebration earlier this year for one of her many descriptive talks. We can either gather at Pebble and travel in carpools or meet at the museum at 10:00 AM.
The cost per person is $10. After the tour we can bring our lunches and commune on the shaded porch. And, per Rev Gary’s request, we can even take a “nature walk” to see nearby Core Creek. Or you may go back into the Museum, which is full of exhibits that merit more than one visit.
