Join us on Sunday, July 12th with Rev. Susan Manning as we embrace the wonder of the Second Half of Life and its Mystical connections.
Carl Jung felt that the 2nd Half of Life differed from the 1st Half in that we are no longer needing to prove anything, impress the boss or the neighbors, or tend to things that no longer serve our inner loving selves. We find more of a desire to search for that deeper meaning of our existence with no comparison to another human being. Our connection to the Divine tends to take a seat center stage and we are finding a different point of view that we didn’t realize we had, yet it feels so natural to us.
Also, bring your favorite prayers, or just bits of prayers so that we can create our own Pebble Hill Prayer or Prayers, or Book of Prayers. This will be an interesting project that can take many different directions that feel right to any of us and can take us way into the deeper realms of our Second Half of Life. Let’s have fun with this!!
