Interfaith Celebration: Palm Sunday & Passover Seder
“Branches and Bitter Herbs: A Service of Liberation and Hope”
Both Palm Sunday and Passover share a profound theological thread: liberation, hope, and the journey from oppression toward freedom. Jesus entered Jerusalem during Passover week, and the Last Supper was itself a Passover Seder. This service leans into that shared history while fully honoring the integrity of each tradition.
Come Join Us on Sunday, March 29th: Janet Berkowitz, Deva Troy, Susan Manning, Gary Schoenberg and You! This is an interactive celebration. We will celebrate the combined messages of Liberation and Hope that are inherent in the rituals of Christian and Jewish traditions.
This is an immersive experience of rituals, music, performance, interactive readings, culminating in a Passover Seder partaking of the ritual foods followed by Peace Soup Sunday!
