Carolyn Penta, a long-time member of Pebble Hill, died peacefully at home last Saturday with her family around her. Arrangements are forthcoming. Carolyn joined Pebble in the early 1970s and remained a loyal supporter until disabled by Alzheimer’s in the 2000s. She served as president of council and led the church’s Nicaragua outreach for years, bearing money, clothing, and supplies to a primitive little farm in the highlands, where a refugee family took root and flourished.
