Pebble Celebration at 10:30 AM – Every Brilliant Thing!!!

We’ll all make this play in keeping with Thanksgiving–the season of Gratitude.

The Story:
You are a 7 year old and your mother has been taken to the hospital.
Your father says you mother has done something wrong.
She finds it hard to be happy.
So you start to make a list of everything that’s brilliant about the world–Everything that’s worth living for!
1. ice cream
2. the color “orange”
3. a baby’s first laugh
4. a “whoopee” cushion
5. Coney Island at night
These “reminders of brilliance” are delivered to your Mom in various ways…
The script continues and the number of Brilliant Things progresses…
including, animals, vegetables, minerals, persons, places, things and ideas.
Give some thought to one thing that brings you delight and…
Bring your Brilliant Thing to Celebration to share during Reflections.

And bring a pie to share afterwards.  As Archimedes said, “There can never be enough pie in this world.”

Masks are advised due to a recent rise in covid cases at Pebble.

Pebble Celebrations are moderated by the Celebration leader. Participants are asked to remain muted during the flow of the program except for during the time for discussion and reflection, and until called upon by the leader.
