A NEW HOME FOR THE PEACE DOVE!

Big hugs and congratulations to Richard Mitchell, whose name was chosen Sunday to be the guardian of Pebble’s precious dove of Peace.  May the two of you take good care of one another, Richard!

 Thanks, everyone, for making the Sunday of the Peace Award and the Peace Soup Picnic a beautiful day!

 Rev. Gary Culp led a celebration that included a retrospective of Pebble Hill Church as a peace site and the origin of the Harold and Alma Abel Peace Award.

 Gary Schoenberg, this year’s honoree, gave an insightful and inspiring acceptance speech and was honored personally by Janet Berkowitz and many people who have benefited from Gary’s love, guidance and commitment to serving others.

 This coming Sunday August 14th Rev. Gary Culp will lead a celebration combining the camp theme of Renaissance, or Rebirth, and the Buddhist concept of metta.
