Time for Pennsylvania to Fully Fund Our Schools: Join the fight for “Thorough and Efficient” Education Funding
This Sunday, November 21 (2:00 pm) – POWER Bucks will be outside the old courthouse in Doylestown (at 55 E. Court Street) for an update on the current legal case for equitable school funding in Pennsylvania.
This is an important time for education justice. A court case has begun in Harrisburg that could be a game changer for the effort for full and fair funding. The current state funding is a serious problem for all districts, and it disproportionately impacts Black and Brown students – and it is illegal under PA law. The court case could bring about the full and fair funding for our schools.
POWER also organized a prayer vigil in Harrisburg on Wed Nov 17th and will again on Wed Dec 15th.
