July 11th Celebration – Celebrating the Return to Our Pebble Home!

This joyous event will mark the first celebration in the Red Barn since March of 2020, but we persevered, and we are back, stronger in spirit for the trials we endured during that epic year. We learned a few things, too—for the first time ever, our celebration will be available to those unable to attend via both zoom and streaming. Find the links on our website home page: Pebblehillchurch.org. Unfortunately, all danger is not past: to protect our community, please wear a facemask if you are not vaccinated.

Our celebration will be led by Rev. Larry Hall,assisted by Revs. Rosalind Cauffmanand Dave Perkins,and will include spiritual cleansing of the church building by Rev. Siobhan Comisky,drumming by Rev. Caryn Cziriac and music by Rev. JoAnne Wolke with returning pianist Wanda Canfield (JoAnne will also call in the four directions). There will be participatory rituals, favorite Pebble songs and even a ceremonial “ribbon cutting” using a beautiful garland of flowers supplied by Jeff and Roseanne MacNair. Most of all, as always, it will shine with love, which is the heart and meaning of Pebble Hill Interfaith Church. Plus—PIZZA afterwards!

Here are some important notes:

1) We will gather in the parking lot while Siobhan performs a spiritual cleansing of the Red Barn, which will take only a few minutes. Bring an umbrella or stay in your car if it’s raining. After a blessing by Siobhan and the ribbon-cutting by Larry, Caryn will drum us into the building.

2) Bring a pebble to use in a ritual. Think about what you bring back to Pebble as we renew our community.

3) To repeat: help protect our community—please wear a facemask if you are not vaccinated. Namaste.

Celebration starts at 10:30 am. We are back at the Pebble Hill Red Barn but will continue with broadcasting via Zoom.
