Rev. Rosalind Cauffman leading.
Rosalind and Rev. Larry Hall will discuss some events in our American history that are news to many of us because we have not been taught about them.
Rosalind will address the Tulsa Massacre one hundred years ago in which some 300 Black citizens were massacred and their homes and businesses torched. Larry will talk about the Texas emancipation holiday called Juneteenth and associated recollections from his upbringing in the segregated South.
We look forward to reflecting together once again on the history of our country and the implications for us all as we strive for meaningful change. Join us as we seek to understand.
Celebration starts at 10:30 am. We are continuing virtual celebrations.
