Almost 7 months after we spoke about “touch” at our last in-person Celebration in March, we (Rev. Susan Manning and Dr. Susan Kaye) revisit this topic in light of the pandemic and its mask wearing, social distancing, and quarantining for months at a time. Are we wanting to be “in-touch” or are we getting further “out-of-touch”?  How do we help ourselves and our families and friends create a “temporary normal” while our society, medical community, and vaccine/cure world move very slowly forward to make the world safe…or at least safer? What does it all mean? Let’s talk!
Celebration starts at 10:30 a.m.  We are continuing virtual celebrations but we are allowing people to enter the Celebration space to watch the presentation on their phones, tablets or laptops or possibly the big screen TV. Please wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and social distance. The windows will be opened and the ceiling exhaust fan will be turned on to draw in fresh air. We will limit the number inside to 25. Windows need to be closed after Celebration.
