Great Again? Pre-Election Press Conference and Interview with Mike Shoeman and Derek Marshall – October 10th at Pebble Hill Church 7:30 PM to 9 PM
IT’S OFFICIAL!!! Mike Shoeman and Derek Marshall will be performing in a pre-election production of “Great, Again?” on Saturday night, October 10th at Pebble Hill Interfaith Church. Then a post-election performance will be offered again on November 14th. Gary Schoenberg is the Producer on the project.
The play will be performed in its entirety and will change based on November’s midterm elections. Act 1 features a live press conference between the President and the audience. Act 2 is the Frost/Nixon inspired interview between The President and podcaster Greg Fullerton. The evening will wrap up with a brief 20 to 30 minute talkback.
In addition to the two Saturday night performances, there will be community discussion events from 1 PM to 3 PM the following Sundays on October 11 and November 15. After receiving feedback from our last audience we wanted to set aside a separate time to unpack thoughts and feelings generated by the performance. These community discussions will be free to the public and donations will be accepted to benefit both the church and our budding theater company.
