Great Again? Performance by Derek Marshall and Mike Shoeman – Saturday, August 8th 2 PM at Pebble
August 8 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Derek Marshall (as “President Trump”) and Michael Shoeman (as podcaster “Greg Fullerton”) are inviting you to a showcase performance of “Great, Again?”
The play features a Frost/Nixon inspired interview addressing Trump’s political and personal influence over the last 10 years. “Great, Again?” will be presented at the Pebble Hill Interfaith Church located at 320 Edison-Furlong Road in Doylestown. The presentation is free and love offerings of any amount to benefit the church and community will be graciously appreciated.
What to expect:
1. Since this is a “workshop presentation”, Michael and Derek will introduce themselves and offer the themes explored in the performance.
These themes include:
* Storytelling for greater transparency: Does theater hold the power to change our political destiny?
* The pressure of professionalism: What stress does a person experience when having to separate a public persona from a personal one?
* Pathways toward viable solutions for politically complex problems: Does trauma-informed facilitation provide an alternative to debate or protest?
2. The audience will participate in a “mock press conference” with Trump. This will set the stage for improvised scenes from the play.
3. Michael and Derek will also present some “deleted scenes” from the play to encourage audience feedback. One scene includes Trump being confronted with a story from an Epstein survivor.
4. Improv workshop where audiences can either participate or just watch to help us develop the next fully staged production expected to be presented in September or October.
