Today at Pebble we are delighted to welcome Kevin E. Leven, founding member of the Bucks County Anti-Racism Coalition and creator of the Juneteenth artwork currently on display in the Red Barn, to lead a discussion around MLK’s Dream and its renewed importance in the current climate of anti-blackness. This celebration was rescheduled in January due to snowy weather and now closes out the observance of Black History Month.

All are encouraged to come with questions and a willingness to talk outside their comfort zone.

Rev. Rosalind will offer a tribute to Claudette Colvin, who as a teenager was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on the bus BEFORE Rosa Parks did the same. She died in January at age 86. We’ll honor Rev. Jesse Jackson who died this week. Rosalind will also share about a contemporary unsung hero and follower in the footsteps of MLK: Rev. William Barber, founder of Repairers of the Breach.

Join us at 10:30am in the Red Barn or on Zoom.
