A First for Pebble!

Get ready, because this Sunday, March 22, 2020, we’re going to make Pebble history.  Since the Red Barn is closed to gatherings, we will launch our first celebration via the Internet.  In this time of shutdowns, distancing and enforced isolation, we can rise above and come together through the magic of the digital age.  You can tune in with your computer or smart phone and enjoy the program at a time you choose.  Just know that many of us will be doing it and sharing the vibes.

Look for the celebration program in your email on Sunday morning.

Although the celebration team has managed to construct a program that you will be able to view at home, it won’t look very sophisticated–no fancy bells and whistles–we’re just glad to be able to pull the community together for a while on Sunday morning.  We will have the usual parts, such as music, lighting the peace candle (a cute little song you probably haven’t heard before), and the prayer list (with another new song that is just beautiful–and very moving.) We will even have the offering (well, at least ask if you’d like to mail us some dough.)  I will be doing a welcoming video and a little talk of eight minutes or so, just to share the love and remind you you’re not alone.

Some of the program is just for you to read.  Some is in the form of links and attachments that you should click on and open as you advance through the program.  The pace is up to you.  That’s it.  Couldn’t be simpler.

Starting time?  Whenever you choose.

Hope you’ll see me Sunday morning!

In loving community,

Rev. Larry Hall
