Sept. 15 Cultivating a Spirit of HOPE in These Troubling Times with Rev. Cynthia Greb. Rev. Dave Perkins will lead.
So many of us are feeling emotionally ravaged by all that is taking place in our country and around the world. Is there any hope at all for the future? Cynthia says yes. She will share some of the inventions, initiatives, and actions that give her a sense of hope for the future. She will remind us of just how many good and kind people exist in this world. And finally, she will share some of the prophecies from various sources and traditions that speak of a time of peace beyond this great planetary change that we are in the midst of.

Sadness, fear, and anger are understandable responses to the current state of affairs, but Hope is absolutely essential. Without Hope, we cannot create the future we dream of deep down in the depths of our hearts.

An Update from Cindy:

I’ve continued to be in “gypsy mode” for the last few years. Four years ago I moved from my beloved Crestone, CO to sacred Mt. Shasta in CA. Then, last year at this time (Sept. 15) I was smack in the middle of a Spirit-guided pilgrimage. It was profound being immersed in nature and learning over and over again to let go of schedule and agenda. It also felt really good to do prayer work at the site of a huge massacre of native people in coastal California. I am strongly called to do more of that. There is so much need for healing.

Montana was also really beautiful and powerful. There were connections with woman my age who were healers, mystics, and intuitives (there sure are a lot!!!) as well as native people, places, and spirits, including the woman who wrote “The Earth is our Mother; we must take care of Her!” I actually had the blessing of living with her for a week. And I had some powerful experiences when I camped on the mountains.

For the last ten months I’ve been in Santa Fe, which is a really nice little city. But when I left in late August to head north into Colorado, it felt so very good to be away from civilization again and out among the mountains, forests, and stars. Out in nature is where my spirit lifts and my heart opens.

I’m also enjoying picking up my pencil and paintbrushes again. There is a long list of paintings waiting to be painted and books waiting to be finished.

Life is good.
