Dear Pebble Community,

My name is JoAnne Wolke, I am former President of Pebble Hill Interfaith Church. I will be attending a 2 1/4 year program of Interfaith Ministry at the School of Sacred Ministries.  I have been attending Pebble since 1991 and have been a member of this Church since 1993. I am enrolling in the School of Sacred Ministries to expand my spirituality and help others. I am seeking sponsorship for funds that will be used to pay for my tuition, religious retreats and text books.  I am so grateful to my support system with my family, friends, and community. My life has been dedicated to helping others and this is a way I can truly help by becoming an Ordained Interfaith Minister.

In my studies I will learn about Religion origins, spiritual counseling, spiritual leadership, psych 101, acute crisis situations, rituals, Christianity, Native American beliefs and rituals, Buddhism, Quakerism, Hinduism, Church history, Sikhism, Protestantism, Confucianism, Judaism, Kabbalah, African tradition, Wicca, Islam, bereavement, conscious dying and hospice care. I will learn about the business of ministry and spiritual emergence. I will also learn of the divine feminine. We will take 9 religious retreats, I will be doing 120 hours of spiritual service and performing rituals and ceremonies.

One reason I am joining his school of sacred Ministries is to explore my faith and to expand my knowledge of all religions. I have done my own exploration of religions my whole life.  Every day I feel like my calling to bless this world- every soul that ever was, ever is and ever will be.  I pray to the Creator because it is about connection, reflection and seeking direction. I want to help people every day in every way possible. By giving them spiritual guidance, or a listening ear, or helping them with small things that are out of reach, that will bring a sense of peace to them and to me by assisting. The main reason for wanting to enroll is to deepen my faith, to bless this world and have the credentials that I personally strive for and mostly to share those blessings with the living and the deceased.

So if you are interested in being a sponsor, your generous gift is a blessing.

In loving community,
JoAnne
