NEW: THE PEBBLE SPOTLIGHT!
Women’s Rights, Social Justice, Racial Equality, Environmental Activism, Peace Work, Ecumenism, Etc. What good works are you pursuing? Would you come and tell us about it? Our 50th Anniversary Celebration reminded us of Pebble’s rich tradition of activism, inspiring us to keep that energy flowing with a weekly 15-minute segment devoted to local activism or spiritual outreach. Could be something as small as working at a food bank or as big as pushing for a national carbon tax (like Bill Mettler does). We need speakers–how about you–or someone you know? Just reply to Rev. Larry Hall at Alert1a@frontier.com

Feb. 4 The Art of Doing Difficult Things – Council President David Cook says, “We have a lot of work to do if we are going to change the world. But as a society we have gotten pretty soft, and too comfortable with instant gratification. In this talk we will explore where we are, where we need to be, and what we can do to prepare ourselves for the challenges we face.” Pretty exciting stuff! Rev. Kalie Marino will lead.
Feb. 11 Celebrating Art, Music, Literature & Movies that Turned You On! Based on those artistic gems you love and possibly even made a difference in your life.
