Just in time for “The Next 50 Years At Pebble”, the new website will be launched on January 23rd.
Tuesday morning we will be migrating to the new website. So here is what you can expect:
-
- A short outage period while the changes are completed to point pebblehillchurch.org to the new website. An email will be sent to announce the completion of the migration after everything is done.
- The announcement posting process has changed. On the new website you will login under “Member Login”, then select “Submit Announcement” under Member Resources. On the announcement form you will enter an Announcement Subject and Announcement Message. Your full name and email address should be populated from your login information. Once submitted, one of our administrators will review and approve.
- Getting permission to post announcements. If you have never posted announcements before and would like to begin posting announcements, you need to sign up for a website membership account on the Pebble website. You can apply for an account at the bottom of the home page under “Register As A Pebble Web Member”.
- Getting added to the announcement list. If you are reading this you are already on the list. If you know of anyone who needs to be added, they can apply on the home page, at the bottom under “Pebble Hill Announcements.”
- Feedback…we love feedback. If you see any issues with the website, or have an suggestions for new content or enhancements, please send them in a message at the bottom of the Contact page.
- Some of the content is being refreshed so may not be available at this time. This includes the Art Gallery page, the Pebble Camp page, and Services page (rental space, ads, etc). We will send announcements as each of these pages is completed and published on the website. If you see anything else missing that you would like to see on the site, please let us know with a feedback message on the Contact page.
- We will do our best to redirect all old pages to the new site as part of the migration process. If after the launch you have any bookmarked pages that now go to a missing page alert (404 Page Not Found), please let us know in a message on the Contact page.
This is the first step in upgrading Pebble’s virtual space. Additional content and functionality will be rolling out in the coming months.
- Thanks!
