Jan 14 Doing the Work of Love: MLK Jr Day

Rev. Rosalind Cauffman is interested in new equal justice issues, such as the Colin Kaepernick controversy in the NFL and mass incarceration.She cites Bryan Stevenson of the Equal Justice Initiative in Alabama and Father Greg Boyle of Homeboy Industries in LA as two who are doing fine work of love and justice. Multi-instrumentalist and singer-song writer Stephen Wise–who has shared he stage with Stevie Wonder and other musical stars–will perform his “music medicine” celebrating divinity within and oneness during the celebration followed by a “One Love” concert from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.! *Celebration starts at 10:30 a.m.Come early and have coffee!

We’ll celebrate Pebble’s colorful and unique journey with speakers from the past as well as those visioning the future!Awards and appreciations! Bring photos to share (put your name on the back so they can be retrieved). Rev. Larry Hall will lead.In the works: a big blowout this summer for the many in the region who still have a warm place in their hearts for Pebble. **Celebration will be followed by an “enhanced” potluck luncheon.Y’all come!
