Peace Soup Sunday is back! Now that summer is over, it's time to move our monthly after-celebration luncheons back inside. That means: it's Peace Soup Sunday time again! The dates for this year are: October 12, November 9, and December 14. (The December one is tentative, based on how much Christmas shopping the organizers have left to do.) Those are the second Sundays of the month. A week or two before, the sign-up clipboards will be passes around at Celebration. If you sign up to bring a main dish, your $5.00 charge is waived. There will also be spaces to sign up for clean-up afterwards, and if we don't get enough help, we won't be able to hold the event. Clean-up for Peace Soup Sunday is a lot more intense than for Cafe, so only sign up if you can commit and bring your rubber gloves! Examples of main dishes are: a largish pot of soup, a large side salad, dessert for 8, 2 gallons of beverages, a large basket of rolls. Contact Gail Rocke and Nancy Hesch for more information.
